We are so excited to be expanding into a new facility this fall! This has been in the works for over six months! I was just about to give up when this new property came on the market and was nearly ready to go! And now TDH will offer music classes, fitness & dance classes as well as have a boutique with a classy waiting area for families to enjoy.
Keep in mind, classes will continue to be out of the home location until further notice, but I'm looking forward to dancing bigger and fuller in a gorgeous new studio this fall.

Music Lessons!
It was always my dream to have a studio that would also have music lessons. And this opportunity came out of the blue when Tiffany messaged me, asking if I had any space to rent. She had no idea that was was looking at expanding to another studio! (I love how the Universe works.) Here's a little intro from Tiffany!
Hello, TDH Families!
My name is Tiffany Van Vooren and I am beyond ecstatic and feel so very blessed to be opening a new music studio in The Dancing House's new location on 2000 O'Neil Road in Hudson!
I am a licensed music teacher and will also be teaching elementary music at EP Rock and Hudson Prairie Elementary Schools this school year.
As a licensed music teacher I have taught in public, private and online schools. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching from Hamline University, St. Paul, MN; Bachelor's Degree in Music from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and my Associates Degree is from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa.
I have taught private piano, voice, flute and guitar lessons for 18 years. My sister and I grew up in dance studios taking ballet, tap and jazz and we both danced with the North Dakota Ballet Company in Grand Forks, ND. After visiting with Melissa, I knew opening a music studio in her new location would be a perfect fit!
I am from Stephen, MN (population 700) which is near the Canadian Border in the heart of the Red River Valley. I grew up on a potato farm!
My family and I (my husband of 17 years and our two sweet boys 8 yo and 3 yo) have lived in Woodbury, MN for the past 14 years, but will be moving to Hudson by the end of September.
The top three priorities in my life are my faith, my family and guiding students to learn to love music as a life-long gift!

In my studio, each school year students have the opportunity to participate in 2 or 3 recitals as well as local music festivals and state competitions if the students are interested in going that route. I offer practice incentives and work with each student for a customized learning approach. Students are never forced to participate in recitals/competitions/festivals nor are they forced to memorize music for a recital. I want their musical experiences to be positive and up lifting.
In my studio, students learn self confidence, have the option to learn the type of music which suites them best (everything from Classical, to Contemporary Christian, Jazz and Broadway songs etc.) as well as have A LOT OF FUN!!

I am wrapping up my summer session in Woodbury this week and then we start packing to move to Hudson!!
Questions you may have...
What type of lessons will this studio offer?
I mainly teach private piano, voice and flute lessons.
I have also taught a smaller number of private guitar and ukulele lessons.
Down the road, I hope to offer small group music classes as well.
What days/times will lessons be offered?
Monday and Tuesday's 4:30-8:00 p.m.
This is a starting point....if there is greater interest/need, I will add more time slots. Each private lesson is 30 minutes, one day each week.
How much will my private music lesson investment cost?
The 2019-2020 school year monthly tuition is $135/month per student with a
$35 registration fee per family. If you register by August 18, I will give you TDH Grand Opening Discount at $130/month and waive the registration fee for this 2019-2020 school year.
Doesn't she sound wonderful? Tiffany will start holding music lessons on Mondays and Tuesdays out of the new studio, starting in October.
